OPEN TO ANYONE! Including students!
Apparently Enzo did not keep enough snacks in his office.
Grading papers into the early hours of the morning was never an easy task, but it was just a little more tolerable when he actually had food and a bottle of something or other. He'd dug through his Honeydukes stash which was really just an embarrassing amount of wrappers as he'd discovered, and considered actually cleaning things and trying to find something that was unopened but then that seemed like more work than it was worth. So now he was here, seeking a snack from the willing house elves that had all but swarmed him as he came inside.
Fortunately he was here often enough that the elves knew his typical order about as well as the local bartender knew his order of booze. But this time it seemed like they'd had some chocolate cake they weren't using because about five seconds later they'd plopped it on the table he'd sat at without warning, beaming at him and bowing repeatedly after setting down a mug of tea along with it.
"Jesus christ," he muttered, staring at the cake. It was easily the length of his entire arm. There was no way he could eat this alone, and there was no way he was going to be judged walking down the corridor with a cake half as tall as he was. Well... It was two in the morning, students weren't supposed to be out of bed anyway. Not that he'd rat them out if they did. He was a notorious non-enforcer of the rules.
At the sound of the kitchen doors opening again, he looked up sharply, feeling himself warm because it also had just occurred to him he was a serious professor sitting in the kitchens in the middle of the night in front of a massive cake like some kind of crazy glutton. At least he was one of the more interesting professors, right?

Lucy was one of the non-followers of the rules, if it could annoy her parents, she would do it. That was why on the fine evening, she went out and wandered the hallways, hid in corridors when prefects or others would walk by, and over all, tried to blend in with her surroundings. She was the one that could match her surroundings well, she was wearing the colors that blended to the walls of the school, her red hair tucked neatly into a brown hat, and her face not painted to accent it. She looked very oridinary, the only thing really being about to easily spotted being her eyes. She liked to eat at night, it was quieter and she could even get the house-elves to get her a butterbeer when she really wanted one, though the firewhiskey they never brought her. She wished they would, but she figured they were under strict orders not to give it to students, especially her. She had been drunk once at the school and frankly it had ended badly with her hanging off the Ravenclaw tower in naught but her birth suit. That had been a fiasco at home, her father and mother lectured her for what seemed like hours for it!
She walked into the kitchen, not taking notice at first that there was someone there. But, then she saw the cake, and then the person. It was one of her professors, Mr. Everett. Merlin she thought, she was going to be in for it, because she couldn't run he would just chase her, but... She couldn't expect not to get in trouble either, or at least... She figured she would get in trouble, she got reprimanded in classes often because of her inability to always behave. "I know I will be in trouble, Sir. I shouldn't be out of bed this late. Buuuuut. I am starving for some sweets." she said rubbing her stomach. She loved cake. Though, he looked like the cake might be all his for the taking. She could just ask for something else. She walked over and took a seat and eyed the cake. "If you don't want to share the cake I can just have them bring me something else. I am already out of bed, have been seen by a professor, I know the drill, it will be 'Detention Miss Weasley'." she said imitating a males firm voice. She would be packing her bags from being expelled soon, she figured because she was always in trouble for something or because of someone else.
"But, before I am sent on my way, I want to eat. I came here for a reason. I could have been doing what the students down the hallway are. But, Christ, it's boring. I need things to liven up my life, not bore me to death. Though some of the other classes are that way, meant to bore you to death, I swear. Some of the teachers make it so boring." she chattered, she could spend hours talking around almost any of her major problems whilst only giving hints that may or may not lead to anyone figuring out what was going on. But, that was Lucy, she was a little crazy, a lot rebellious, and someone who liked to have fun, but at the expense of others most of the time. She was bright, exceptionally so. She could work out most problems and do most spell work or other things. It was just the dueling nature of good and evil in her that made it hard for her to really be a good person to be around.

It was a student. Of course. Now he had to put his authority face on.
I know I will be in trouble, sir. "Mhmmmm." He looked at the Ravenclaw thoughtfully, mostly trying to remember her name from his classes. He was pretty damn awful at the name game but sometimes he got lucky. The red hair helped him though - she was definitely a Weasley. Some of them were known for mischief, though he couldn't recall if she'd stood out for that in his class. He had a list of troublemakers that he made note to ignore and she wasn't on it. Yet, his mind informed him ominously. Anyway.
Smiling wryly at her imitation at an authoritative male voice, he shrugged, automatically wanting to be defiant of his professor authority aura now that she'd brought it up. "Not all of us are that boring. Some of us, and by that I mean almost just myself exclusively, completely understand the needs of the stomach." Enzo conjured a knife and expertly slice the cake into sections before shoving some pieces off toward her. "Have at it. I'd be a monster if I worked through all this on my own. I think the elves overestimate how hungry I am, constantly."
Enzo raised a brow as she went on chattering. Is there an off switch? Sometimes he swore, once he got students to open up he couldn't get them to shut up. He was inclined to tune her out but he tilted his head in vague curiosity at something she'd said. "What are other students doing out in the hall?" Had he missed them on his way here? He supposed they were more likely to hide when a professor walked past than a student, but still. He wavered constantly between wanting to be the cool and young-ish professor and being absolutely savage to students that misbehaved, especially since he liked to think he had a really creative mind when it came to brainstorming creative detention sessions. "In any case, I hope you're not implying my class is a bore," he deadpanned, wanting to toy with her to see how she'd react to 'offending' him.
