my own little haven [open]

Brushing some of her ginger colored locks out of her face, a small sigh escaped young Charlotte's mouth. She hadn't been at Hogwarts for very long yet, maybe a week or so at max. She couldn't remember. She was having too much fun searching and exploring the massive castle. There was only a few places that she remembered how to get to by heart. She remembered how to get back to her dorm, the Great Hall and of course the library.

The library was where Charlotte spent most of her time. Any free time that she got, she would simply browse whatever would catch her attention & see what she could catch up on the subject. She felt like she had a bit of a disadvantage and an advantage at the same time by having her mum teach magic. She got to spend more time actually practicing what she was learning and it was at her own pace. But she felt like her mum could have covered more subjects as well.

Absent mindedly playing with her hair as she walked, Charlotte wasn't really looking for any book in particular. The young Gryffindor was actually bored, and since she only knew a few places, she had decided to pay the library a visit rather than her common room. She didn't know many people yet, where as everybody else that was in the same year as her did. That was her disadvantage. The social situation. She wasn't the most social girl, she was socially awkward actually. Tending to be more overly polite when she spoke to people.

Turning around the corner of a bookcase, Charlotte felt herself bump into somebody causing her to stumble back and land on her butt. If she had been paying attention, she would have seen the person standing there. But she didn't. "Oh my gosh!" she blurted out before standing back up. "I am so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going and I just assumed that nobody else would be here" she began to ramble.
