PERSONALITY

[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Albus is incredibly complicated because he doesn't really hate anyone, but he hates being good. He doesn't want to be what his parents made him and his siblings to be, the next great Potters, the living on of a family, the growth from love. He hates all of that stuff, he wants to be his own person, not attached to the Potter name. It is grand that they did noble things but everyone has preconceived notions that he is a good boy and that he is going to great things for the wizarding world and be the same as his father and mother before him and even moreover that he is going to be just like James and be the good guy, his brother is always the kind of guy people want to actually get to know, but not Albus, he is the forgotten middle child and definitely acts like it.
He doesn't know how to handle the pressures of society and is teetering on the edge of going completely the wrong way so he is totally the black sheep. He is incredibly protective of one person, that person being his sister Lily, if anyone tried to mess with her, he would kill, she is the baby of the family right now and he loves her and tries his best to make sure that he is not a total arse in front of her. But, his tendencies to be a jerk are becoming more and more ingrained in him and he is slipping further and further away from everyone. He is totally isolating himself and the loneliness and depression and anger are turning into a melting pot for absolute self destruction and total disaster for everyone.

HISTORY

[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Albus Severus Potter was born to the infamous Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, and he has always hated it. He has lived under the shadow of his parents and especially now the shadow of his older brother, James. While he loves his family, he is sick of being the Potter boy. He wants to be more. His childhood was filled with failed attempts of his parents trying to keep them out of the spotlight, his dad being revered as a hero and the fact that his dad's best friend disappeared entirely, something that left his parents sullen often times. Albus has always been the problem child, getting in trouble often and for large and small problems, including a automobile accident one time that was caused when he stole a car that was left running in muggle London on a visit there, and being a bully to others. He hates the Potter name and wants to not be considered the goody goody that his parents are. He doesn't want to be under the shadow of his parents forever and makes it a point at school and elsewhere to not be the goody and image of his parents, wrecking things and making problems at every possible turn.
Albus was severely disappointed at the sorting hat placing him in Gryffindor, he even argued with the hat and still was placed in Gryffindor in order to as the hat put it 'honor the Potter name' he hated the mantel he carried. He looked like his father, despite having a different shade of eyes, he was happy to have not had the same eyes. He has since made himself into quite the bully and the impressive duelist at an early stage of schooling, but has managed to live up to his one name sake, he has snark and the potions ability that can rival anyone below him, in the same year as him, and even some above him, but that comes from spending excessive amounts of time behind a cauldron to calm himself so he doesn't become like the next dark lord or something. He hates the Pureblood ideals and that kind of stuff, but definitely doesn't plan to live up to any of his parents ideals.
