PERSONALITY

[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Danica is an extremely passionate person first and foremost and though she values success just about as much as your average Slytherin, she values a few other things just a little more. But back to passionate - she's an incredibly driven person, and when she wants something in life, she works hard for it (a key Hufflepuff trait) until she can all but demand it and it's hers. This is how she became a prefect at the earliest opportunity - her fifth year - and is still currently a prefect. It's also the reason she's been on the Quidditch team as a beater since she was a second year. She's a very tenacious person in this way. Additionally, in general she's just a magnetic, confident person with a powerful personality that gives others the impression they're meant to be inferior to her, because her personality is just that overwhelming. She does have soft qualities though, and those lie with her family. She's a Hufflepuff first and foremost because she is so undyingly loyal to them, and her brothers are literally the reason she has such a strong, outspoken personality. She learned how to fight because her brothers were picked on, and obviously the only person who can pick on them is her, so basically by now, most of the school understands they're not allowed to lay a finger on her brothers.

Onto her less savory traits, Danica is known as sort of a bully at times. She can be petty, and she likes to make things dramatic. She has a sort of reputation of being so at the top of the social hierarchy that she's almost feared, and she's very smug about that. She can certainly be a royal bitch if you give her the opportunity, and she will take it every single time you offer it to her. She can be very blunt as well, there's no such thing as sugar-coating things in her eyes, and it can make her really unpredictable. She can be superficial in this way, and manipulative, but she has this habit of disguising who she feels she truly may be to all but a few, which makes her secretive. All in all, she definitely has that queen bee personality, and it remains to be seen for those that come across her if that's a good or bad thing for them.

HISTORY

[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Danica was born the middle child in her family, just barely less than a year younger than her older brother, and her youngest brother born two years after her. She was the middle child, but it was pretty clear from the beginning that she had them both wrapped around her finger. They loved her, because she loved them back fiercely, and there's no lack of love between these siblings. As a kid she teased them a lot, but they were always aware she was joking, and played along so no harm was done. It wasn't quite the same thing when both brothers were teased in elementary school. As they were half-bloods, their parents decided it would be best if they went to public school before they went to Hogwarts, to get sort of the fullest experience they could get with a foot in both worlds.

Her brothers were a little off in personality, both of them. Her older brother was a huge nerd, very much into card games and any game really, if we're being honest. He'd never learned to be ashamed of that, because really there's no reason for him to be, until he was picked on because of it at school. Her younger brother was very, very quiet and stuttered a lot, quite shy when not around his siblings, and when Danica noticed both her brothers getting backlash from mean kids, she decided to learn how to fight. She picked up karate and literally threw punches at people who dared to even snicker at her brothers, and kids learn to be afraid of girls that can kick boys' asses, so that was precisely what happened with Danica. She and her siblings were expelled from two different schools for fighting before they were finally carted off to Hogwarts.

Her older brother, Nik, was sorted into Hufflepuff and sort of had a terrible time because of his nerdiness and because he was a 'lesser blood' according to the purebloods of Slytherin house. And with no Danica to help him out, he counted down the days till his sister would join him in school. He wasn't let down, and for how intense her love was for her brothers, and her willingness to do anything for them despite her sharp-edged nature, she was sorted into Hufflepuff along with him and established herself as her brother's protector, and also the single hardest worker in her year. Danica isn't by any means a genius (though she'd try and convince you otherwise); she's simply a hard worker, ridiculously so, and got O's in all of her classes because she worked tirelessly on them. She's the type of girl that when she wants success, she'll get it, and no one will question her for it.

Her younger brother was also sorted into Hufflepuff when he enrolled, and so they were all a big badger family. Everyone by now knew not to mess with the Clarke boys and even at the young age of fourteen, she was a pretty well-established figure on the social spectrum of the school. She was feared, admired, loved, and idolised, and this continued through her later years. Though she's pleased that she has this effect, she's also worried that she can never allow herself to be soft because she's forced herself to become this person with such a strong personality. Only time will tell, and good company, if she will allow herself to soften.
