Pacing the floor of her new office was Hermione Granger, the new arthmancy professor at Hogwarts School, there was sure to be a warn out area from the spot but that was the last thing on her mind. Every since she and her daughter arrived at Hogwarts Hermione can't stop feeling nervous even though the only person who knows she's back was Professor McGonagall. But now that she was actually there it seemed like a bad idea the longer she stayed for she hasn't even unpacked yet because she might just change her mind and go back home but she couldn't do that there were a lot of things that should have been dealt with a long time ago and, besides, Charolette was hopefully unpacked it wouldn't be nice to leave now she knew how her daughter was looking forward to the upcoming year.
"I can do this" She told herself over and over again as she pulled out a chair to sit down but could she do it? There was a lot at risk being back. For one was coming face to face with Ronald Weasley who doesn't know what he has a daughter it was time he know no matter the consequences and Charlotte has every right to know who her father is. If Hermione got yelled at or worse she deserved it but the thought of having that conversation with either one of them has her shaking.
Sighing deeply running her fingers through her hair Hermione all of a sudden felt trapped and she needed to get out before she lost her mind or worse bailed. "I need to get out of here" Grabbing her wand she ran to the door, yanked it up, and almost ran out of her office into the corridor. Once she was a good distance away Hermione slowed down reaching a hand out her fingertip tracing over the stone walls looking out the windows as she passed them "I really missed this place" Stopping at one of the windows leaning into it looking over the grounds she couldn't help but smile remembering her past even the dangerous times without them the world would be a lot different.

Sometimes, when Ginny knew Harry wouldn't be home, she spent her time wondering through the halls of Hogwarts. A good portion of the time was walking around in hope that her paths would collide with one of her children or her many neices and nephews, but it rarely ever did. Though she had managed to find great joy in just walking alone. It was the stone walls of the old castle that held some of her greatest memories. As much good that happened to her in her student years here there were an equal amount of bad that happened. But for this former Weasley, the good will always out weigh the bad. It was here where she met her closest friends. It was here where she fell head of heels for Harry. It was here, where she currently found herself, that everything seemed to be just right. Because walking these halls made her feel very much happy and nothing could ruin that.
Not even the figure in the corner of her eye that resembled a very familiar person to her. Someone she couldn't even remember the last time she saw them. Hermione Granger. She could of sworn that all those years ago that they were friends. Heck, Ginny would of said best friends. But when someone takes up and leaves with out a word one day, you start to question the state of the relationship. "You were missed," her voice was quiet at first, "Where in Merlin's beard have you been?" she spoke up louder, "Fourteen years," her stern motherly voice was coming out, a habit she wasn't really sure how it began. "Fourteen years, Hermione. I should be upset or mad. I shouldn't even want to talk to you." The serious face that she had put in to let the anger in her come out was beginning to disappear and melt in to a small smile, "But before I start scolding you as if you were one of my children can I please get a hug from you?" She missed the woman way too much to let her get by with out a hug. _______________________________________________________________________ Tagged: HERMIONE GRANGER | Notes: Hope this is alright with you. | Word count: 355
